Resolution on the Brother MFC-6490CW is 1200x1200 dpi; providing you with professional, eye-catching results. This machine uses ink cartridges in black (LC61BK), cyan (LC61C), magenta (LC61M), and yellow (LC61Y). Page yield estimates are 450 for black and 325 for each color—with 5 percent coverage. Replacements are available in the Precision compatible and genuine Brother brand.
The glass platen makes scanning various media, including bound materials, simple. Unlike most multifunctional machines in its class, the Brother MFC-6490CW accommodates paper sizes up to 11x17 inches rather than the 8.5x14 inches normally seen.
