In 2007 Copystar introduced the CS-2525E. Multifunctional from the beginning, it is well-designed with copier, printer, and scanner modes; adding fax capabilities are optional. At a brisk rate of 25 pages-per-minute, multiple copies are output in monochrome and vibrant color on the Copystar CS-2525E. Paper handling is flexible on the Copystar CS-2525E starting with two 500-sheet paper cassettes and 100-sheet multipurpose tray. When choosing a different variety of media to print on such as cardstock, envelopes, or transparencies you can use the multipurpose tray so that you do not have to unload the main paper source. The maximum sheet capacity of 4,100 can be reached when all optional paper cassettes are utilized—including an optional 3,000-sheet large capacity tray.

Lowering paper usage and filing space is simple with the standard automatic duplexing feature. Documents are taken to a new level when one-sided input is converted to two-sided output; especially nice for professional practices. There are four toner cartridges used on the Copystar CS-2525E, they come it black (TK-829K), cyan (TK-829C), magenta (TK-829M), and yellow (TK-829Y). The estimated yield of the black toner is 15,000 pages at 5 percent coverage whereas each color has an approximate yield of 7,000 pages at 5 percent.
