Buyers Laboratory Inc. gave it the “Outstanding 31-40 ppm color MFP” award in 2009. It went through the 90,000-impression durability test without needing any servicing. The large LCD panel and retractable keyboard make projects a snap!
Toner yields are generous on the Sharp MX-3100N. The black toner (MX-31NTBA) has an estimated yield of 18,000 pages and each color—cyan (MX-31NTCA), magenta (MX-31NTMA), and yellow (MX-31NTYA)—have a projected yield of 15,000 pages, all with an average page coverage of 5 percent. Administrators can access the MX-3100N from a remote computer to view the machine and maintain consumables; this feature also helps to streamline media workflow and enhance productivity.
