Definition of print head

print head
1.  The component in inkjet printing responsible for placing the ink on the paper.
More Information:
Ink is transported from the ink cartridge to the print head through small tubes. The ink is then heated by tiny heating elements to create a bubble to be sprayed onto the paper by tiny jets. The heating element determines the size of the drop to be applied to the paper.
