1. An acronym for scan once / print multiple. Digital-system technology which scans one or a set of originals once, and places each into memory as it is scanned. Collates electronically; printing out only after all originals have been scanned (soml~ systems may function as SO/PM only when 2+ collated or uncollated is selected). Note that the usual
terminology of scan once print many is inaccurate, since printing 2 is multiple, but not necessarily many.
